Salim R. Maduar studied chemistry at the M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 2010-2011 he in addition studied functional nanomaterials, and since 2011 studied bionanotechnology at the MSU Nanotechnology Education and Research Center. In 2008-2010 Salim has been working on electrochemistry of materials for Li-ion batteries under a supervision of Prof. Evgeny V. Antipov at the Laboratory of Inorganic Crystallochemistry. In 2011 he joined the group of Prof. Olga I. Vinogradova to work on his Diploma thesis. The same year he has been awarded the M.V.Lomonosov stipend, and has been selected for an internship at Rusnano. Salim obtained his Diploma in 2012. The same year he became a PhD student. Salim is currently investigating theoretically electrostatic interactions of heterogeneously charged anisotropic surfaces with complex colloidal and polymer objects, such as membranes, microgels, polyelectrolytes and more. His research is motivated by biophysics problems. In 2014 Salim has received the A.N.Frumkin Award "for the best PhD student work in electrochemistry related areas". In 2015 he has won the Grant of the President of Russia for graduate students. Since 2016 Salim is a junior research fellow. In 2017 Salim received PhD in Physics and Mathematics.
